Barone performs in The Shoes (Seinfeld 4th season) in the role of Gail Cunningham. A chef She wants to wear Elaine Benes's shoes. She was a member of the crew in the show Carol & Company in early 1990s alongside the actress Carol Burnett. Barone was the actress's former wife in her first Friends' appearance. Jane Sibbett was her replacement after Barone left Friends to pursue a role which required longer time. She played the role of The Jeff Foxworthy Show's first season from 1995 to 1996 and The War at Home, between 2005 and 2007. Barone was also a co-star in Daddio. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones who was the husband of Barone's character on two of the episodes.
